Warung Nako and Kopi Nako commenced operations in March 2018 under PT. Jendela Kuliner Bersama and are part of KANMA GROUP, which oversees several restaurants and cafes in Bogor and Jakarta.
The fundamental concept of NAKO is derived from " Warung Nasi " ( rice warung ) or
" Warteg " and " Warung Kopi" ( coffee shop ), which are very familiar in Indonesia.
The combination of both makes WARUNG NAKO and KOPI NAKO a unified concept that complements each other. NAKO, meaning " Nasi and Kopi ( Rice and Coffee ) " A concept that synergizes architecture, design, and product.
NAKO | A warung NASI and local KOPI with an urban design concept featuring tropical architecture as an adaptation of Indonesia's local WARTEG buildings, with thousands of louvers, or NAKO windows, as the primary ornament of a sustainable concept that integrates ARCHITECTURE, INTERIOR, and FNB.
The dominant monochromatic gray color of the building serves as the foundation for the architectural and interior color identity.
The abundant use of glass allows ample sunlight to penetrate nearly every corner of the building, making it one of the strongest visual elements of the Warung Nako and Kopi Nako concept. It is Instagrammable at every angle.
Initially, Warung Nako served a variety of Indonesian home-cooked meals, displayed on trays behind glass showcases. The food, beverages, and snacks offered were local menu items familiar to the taste buds and preferences of local customers.
At the end of 2020, Warung Nako Mini was introduced as an adaptation of Warung Nako, featuring a smaller building design and a more visible business model.
Warung Nako Mini offers rice bowls, a meal served in a cup-shaped container filled with rice, side dishes, and vegetables, topped with various Indonesian sauces. Warung Nako Mini also provides a variety of snacks to accompany coffee, such as toast, glazed donuts, fried bananas, cassava, and cireng.
The home-cooked taste of the food, affordable prices, and trendy interior design make Warung Nako Mini the perfect complement to Kopi Nako.
