THE KLUWIH HERITAGE

INTRODUCTION

As an expansion of Kluwih Sunda Authentic, the Indonesian restaurant concept has evolved into The Kluwih Heritage, owned and operated by Kanma Group.

The architectural concept is essentially an evolution of the Bogor Kluwih, evident in the building's facade which retains the triangular mountain shape, and the main ramp serving as the primary access to the upper floor, symbolizing the dynamic pathways at the foot of a mountain. Functionally, this ramp also provides disability-friendly access to the second floor.

CONCEPT OF THE BUILDING

The building is situated in a void shaped to resemble a Kluwih seed, which doubles as an aesthetic hanging lamp, serving as an ARTWORK.

Crafted from repurposed blinds, this piece is part of the " Daur Baur Movement " by Kopi Nako Daur Baur, a sustainability project in collaboration with Byoliving for Kluwih Heritage.

The interior is dominated by wood, rattan, and subtle bamboo elements, aiming to create a modern, warm, and homey Indonesian vibe.

The custom lighting design primarily features wood and rattan.

Custom accessories incorporate Balinese bamboo ornaments, with some adorned with hand-woven rattan in batik patterns, representing Indonesia's traditional culture.

FOOD CONCEPT

Most of the menu items are authentic Sundanese dishes, preserving their original recipes and quality.

As a result, customers often refer to Kluwih as a home to hundreds of rare Sundanese dishes. Kluwih serves traditional Sundanese cuisine, including nasi liwet, nasi bakar, nasi kecombrang, nasi tutug oncom, ayam bakakak, gurame, nila fish, stir-fried vegetables, and sayur asem.

Serving a delectable selection of Indonesian cuisine is one of our primary goals for #BabaturanKluwih. We offer a variety of menu options suitable for any occasion, whether it's a casual lunch or a special dinner with friends, colleagues, family, or loved ones.
